Good day everyone,
I hope all is well; welcome to this series of blog to new and returning readers. I decided to name the topic of this blog “The power of your words, and mouth” because the words that comes out of our mouth are a very powerful tool, and gift that has been given to us by God. John 1:1 NIV said “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God”, also If you read the book of Genesis God said things such as “Let there be light” and there was light, “let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness”. We have the characteristics of God in us, that is why we have to be mindful, and careful of the words that come out of our mouth. Proverbs 18:21 NIV said “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” When we speak to others, especially our children, we must learn to speak words of encouragement, and wisdom to them. When you speak to a child, you must speak uplifting words to help them achieve the purposed vision God has for them to become. We should not speak words of discouragement to others, especially the younger generations.
The Future Of The World
Children are the future of this world; therefore, we have to raise them right, we have to make them believe that they can do all things trough Christ. Ephesians 3:20-21 NIV said “now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” Through Christ all things are possible; we can do all things through Christ who strengthen us. It is also good to keep in mind to not speak words of negativity over your own life as well, never doubt your capacity to accomplish the vision that God has place in you. You should always have a “I can do this mindset”, you must speak words of positivity over your life, and over your vision from God, and not let life, and people discourage you from accomplished them. 1 John 4:4 NIV said “You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” The vision that God has place in you can be accomplished, that is why you must have faith in God, you must have faith that God exist, that he created the world, and that he sent Jesus to die for our sin, and he rose from the dead on the third day. Once you have faith in God, and understand God, your vision in this world will be accomplished.
How Powerful The Tongue Is
The book of James 3 NIV describes how powerful the tongue is, especially verse 5 which said “Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark” Verse 10-12 NIV also said “ Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be. Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring?” that is why we must be careful of the words that comes out of our mouth, those chapters clearly define how powerful the power of the tongue is, and why it is necessary for us to do our best to control our tongue and month, and the words that comes out of it. Proverbs 9:10 NIV said “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” When you start to fear God, and ask God for wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, this also helps you to control the words that comes out of your mouth, and help you refrain from saying anything to anyone that can create conflicts, this also keep you from harm, and from getting in trouble.
You Were Created In The Likeness & Image of God
We were created in the imagine, and likeness of God, when Satan see us, he sees the very image of God. Satan understand how powerful we are, we were created to be higher than Satan. Do not let Satan makes you think that you are not created in the likeness and image of God. You must speak words of positivity, and recite bible verses that will cast Satan out, you must pray in the spirit, and in the flesh, you must worship the God almighty. Give thanks to Jesus Christ who died for our sin. All this can be accomplished through him who strengthens us. If people start to control their thoughts, and words that come out of their mouth, they will see how they start to control the aspect of their life once they connect back with God, God can start to manifest his vision in life through them, tune in for the next blog.
